Hello! It’s already time for another little but packed release, so here we go!
Improved hand history animated exports
We’ve made a couple of really important enhancements for the GIF & Video exports:
The format is a real square, so it’s gonna look way better when you share the videos on Instagram for example
We’ve added the size of the bets for much better readability
Here is the result:
Tom Dwan loses a huge $2.35 million pot against Paul Phua. The currency is the Korean Won.
Improved hand history reading mode
We’re now displaying cute little cards when you read a hand:

Apple Watch & Player Notes
You can now read your player notes directly on your wrist if you’re a lucky Apple Watch user:
Some of Nicholas tendencies on the Apple Watch
Other new features
Asked by some of dear users:
You can now export your operations as CSV
You can change the language of the app
We’ve also pretty much fixed the whole textual export of hand history, as it only work for mails.
This is it for 4.8! And as usual, feedback and comments on the App Store are strongly encouraged as they really help us improve the app! Have a great day!
After the bad news that happened in order to get to release this update, we’re still upset but we really want to bring you more and more great content. So today for this 4.7 we have a feature live players should love, a feature online users asked for, and a few more! So here we go:
Hand History GIF & Video
You can now export your hand histories in GIF or video to share them anywhere you want!
Do you recall who made that sick call to win the tournament? Hint: this did not happen at the Bellagio!
Simply tap the export button in the toolbar of the hand history and select GIF or Video!

Online results
We’ve been asked many times if it was possible to have the buy-in and the stack to enter your online results. As players often multitable and auto-rebuy when playing online, it’s difficult to track how much is being buyed-in, that’s why we originally chose to simply give the option to enter a net result.
Nevertheless we’ve heard your comments, so now you’ll have the option to choose your favorite method to set a result in the bankroll screen.
But that’s not it! Not only do we offer the buy-in + stack option, but also the bankroll difference option! So what’s that?
When multitabling online, poker sites doesn’t always show you your session result, so you’re not exactly sure how much you won or lost. That’s why we’re giving you the option to simply enter your online bankroll value at the end of your session, and Poker Analytics does the rest. It computes the difference between your bankroll at the start and the end of session, and gives you your session result! Please note that it requires you to carefully record all movement on your bankroll that might alter its amount.
The new bankroll editing screen
Note that you’ll also be able to change the method session by session if you have specific needs.
Custom fields Duplicate
Session duplicating is a powerful tool, especially for online MTT and Sit&Go players.
Until now, custom field values weren’t copied when duplicating because we never know for sure if it makes sense to copy that information, only you can know. Now you can specify for each custom field if it should be copied or not. Simply edit your custom field and you’ll find a new “Copy on duplicate” option.

Refactoring
As you may have already noticed, the addition of the previous features required us to change the bankroll and custom fields editing screens.
We’ve also refactored a couple more screen for your pleasure, and ours.
The operations list is more detailed and each operation shows their comment and type.
New operation list screen
Refactoring the bankroll screen lead to refactor the currency selection, so we’ve put the most used currencies at the top of the screen to cover most usage.

And that’s it! You can now update your apps, and then as always we love to hear from you, please tell us how we do, whatever it’s good or bad…We need to hear your feedback!
On our happy quest to continuously bring you the best poker tracker with the new version 4.7, we’ve seen our release held several days by the App Store submission review team, to finally see it rejected for our Health Kit usage.
Today we’re using the iOS Health Kit framework to bring you reports that uses data from the Health app: sleep, calories and workouts.
After providing more information on the way we use the reports, we’ve finally seen our appeal on the decision also rejected.
From Apple’s 2.5.1 guidelines:
Apps should use APIs and frameworks for their intended purposes. […] HealthKit should be used for health and fitness purposes and integrate with the Health app
So apparently we’re not using the framework for its purposes, we’re not encouraging you to have a healthy & fitness-y lifestyle.
But hey, no worries Apple! We will only comply with your decision if we want our app on the store.
What does this means for you? If you’re using our Health reports in Poker Analytics, please understand that unfortunately those reports are going to be removed from the app with the release of 4.7 that will come soon. That means that you should check them out while you still can.
The good news is that we’re more motivated than ever, that 4.7 comes with great features, and that we’ve already started working on 5.0! We can’t wait to show you what’s next!
Today we released a new significant version of Poker Analytics! There are new features in the app so let’s detail them all.
New stats
Finally, some new stats! It’s been a while since we wanted to add a few, so here are the new additions:
Big Blinds Won per 100 Hands
Standard Deviation per Hour
Standard Deviation in BB per 100 Hands
In the Stats tab, we’ve removed the current Standard Deviation by Standard Deviation Per Hour, which is much more relevant for you. We’ve also added the BB/100 Hands ratio for cash game.
You probably already understood that the Standard Deviation and Standard Deviation in BB per 100 hands are not shown in the Stats screen, but where then?
You might not be aware but Poker Analytics has Custom Reports. In the Reports tab, you can create your own reports by hitting the Plus button. Custom reports allows you to create pretty much any kind of reports you’re already familiar with, using the stats and filters you really want to see!
Sharing
We’ve fixed a couple of issues with sharing:
The Instagram sharing didn’t work
Some of our reports couldn’t be exported
Also, we’ve changed the way some graphs are exported. We’ve made a format better suited to social sharing, with a size better suited to smaller screen, and way closer from what you see on the app!
Import
A few weeks ago, we’ve had a request for a Poker Trak import in the app. We know how important it is to have your data inside the app, so we’re always happy to get your current data inside the app. We did implement what’s necessary for this new format format, but understand that it’s still experimental at the moment. Contact us if you’re looking to import that kind of data.
That’s it for 4.6! You can update your apps now, and please have a lot of fun at the tables!
We’re happy to release this new version of Poker Analytics!
Let’s be honest with each other, no major feature for this release, but a lot of small features that should ease your life.
We won’t list them all but here are the most important ones:
Your filters are now automatically sorted by usage. The more you’ll use a filter the more he’ll figure at the top of the filters list.
Year filter: There is now a dynamic filter for years. You’ll be able to select any year you played a session.
Hands group export: we’ve added a button that lets you export groups of hands.
We’ve changed the way hands and hands groups are displayed. You should have way less trouble finding recorded hands!
Also, we’ve fixed some bugs, especially around iCloud, and we’ve added the app support for iOS 11, which might be the secret major feature of this release if you’re fond of graphical changes!
