It’s Day 16 here in the WSOP. Two more bracelets were awarded yesterday to the first place finishers and the famous Michael Mizrachi got one, his fifth!
Event #27: $1,500 Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better
Michael Mizrachi topped a field of 460 and defeated Robert Gray heads-up to secure the title and $142,801, nine years after his first back in 2010.

Event #28: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em
Stephen Song entered the day with nearly half the chips in play at the beginning of Day 3. A huge advantage that he used to win his first bracelet even if it was not as easy as imagined, Ryan Laplante and Scot Masters fighting their best to win the tournament as well.

There are only sixteen players left in this long race to come back for Day 5 tomorrow. The Russian Roman Korenev is leading the way with a stack of 3,800,000 chips. The sixteen survivors are guaranteed a minimum of $16,970 while $477,401 will be given to the winner.
Event #29: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship
They are only seven left to be able to win one of the toughest tournament in these WSOP as well as $425,347 guaranteed for 1st place. Dario Sammartino will start the final table in great shape with a massive chiplead of 5.0M chips while the 2nd has only 1.6M.

Event #31: $3,000 NLHE 6-handed
Just 20 players remain in this event, and De Silva has the chiplead 100 big blinds after Day 2 coming back on Day 3 to lead the pack. The two-time bracelet winner is trailed by Nicholas Howard (1,700,000) and the French Thomas Cazayous (1,690,000) amid a top three that has paced a bit ahead of the others.
Tomorrow will see the final table of the Event #26: $2,620 NLHE Marathon and the winner will be awarded $477,401.

Huge performance of John Gorsuch who wins the million after falling to two big blinds at the final table. He finally managed to win the tournament for $1,344,930 and his first gold bracelet.

Rami Boukai captured his second career World Series of Poker gold bracelet, closing out the heads-up battle against John Evans. Boukai, whose previous bracelet win came at the 2009 WSOP in the $2,500 Pot-Limit Omaha/Hold’em event, said the money is the most important thing to him.

With 2,577 players registered at the start of this event in Pot Limit Omaha, it was necessary to have the patience and know how to hold his four cards. This is obviously the case for the American Andrew Donabedian who won the bracelet and $205,605. This is the first bracelet of this PLO fan.

Tomorrow will see the day 4 of the Event #26: $2,620 NLHE Marathon and the winner will be awarded $477,401 during Day 5.
Twenty-six years after he shipped the $10,000 1993 Main Event for $1,000,000 (231 entrants), Jim Bechtel won over a field of 91 players for his second piece of WSOP gold and $253,817. Jean-Robert Bellande didn’t manage to keep his chiplead until the end and finished 5th for $55,693.

Event #22: $1,000 Double Stack No-Limit Hold’em
Jorden Fox conquered a 3,253 player field for more than 420 buy-ins! The soon-to-be father received $420,693 for his accomplishment, overcoming a final table that included the bracelet holder Jeffrey Smith.

An amazing heads-up between the experienced Eli Elezra and talented Anthony Zinno eventually turned to the advantage of the veteran who wins his fourth bracelet for $93,766.

Event #22: $1,000 Double Stack NLHE
After two complete days of what was originally scheduled as a two-day tournament, the remaining 11 players will be returning for a third and final day to play down to a winner. Coming into Day 2 Jorden Fox sat near the top of the chip counts and he now sits atop the leaderboard heading into the final day of play.
Event #23: $1,500 Eight Game Mix
The second day of Event #23: $1,500 Eight Game Mix has come to an end after ten levels. 28 players are left with Alexander Livingston coming out as the player to beat with 587,000 chips.
Event #24: $600 WSOP.com Online PLO Six-Handed
An event that saw top players compete for victory, finally won by Josh “loofa” Pollock ($139,740) against Jason “TheBigGift” Gooch ($85,560) in head’s up while Jared Bleznick finished third ($59,163). Note that the 5th place came for Phil “HeyGuys” Galfond who won $29,680. 652 players had taken part on this online PLO tournament.
