Event #56: $500 SALUTE to Warriors – No-Limit Hold’em
After ten live cashes in the course of 13 years, Steven Genovese casually grabbed the event #56 bracelet and its associated $217,921! His previous best performance was a $21,018 win in a $185 daily tournament at the Rio in 2015.
“It feels amazing! I was pinching myself the whole time!”, the now retired fireman said. “You can do it, too. If I can do it, you can do it.”
Event #58: $3,000 6-Handed Limit Hold’em
Jason Daly made his starting chip lead work for him yesterday as he didn’t let the other 16 players upset his run to victory. A first bracelet for American who adds $165,250 to his live earnings, now reaching $918k.
The most famous names fell early yesterday: Joe McKeehen couldn’t built a stack and was the first eliminated (17th), shortly followed by Dan Shak (14th).
“This is my third World Series final table. I had a huge chip lead like this last year and blew it, so I was focused, and I was doing everything I could not to screw this one up”, said the happy winner.

Seven players remain in Event #53: $1,500 MILLIONAIRE MAKER No-Limit Hold’em, and Moldova’s top earner ($6M) Pavel Plesuv has the top spot to take the $1,2M prize. All the player will look forward winning their first bracelet.
Hong Kong-based poker pro Ka Kwan Lau leads Event #57: $25,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha for a chance to win the third biggest prize this year. Many spotlight pros fell in the later stages of day, including Jeremy Ausmus (8th, $209k), Chance Kornuth (9th, $161k) and Isaac Haxton (11th, $126k).
At 18 left, Barak Wisbrod from Israel leads Event #59: $3,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em. 2019 Main Event Runner-up Dario Sammartino will return with the 13th stack, hoping to finally grab a bracelet. They’ll play for $675,275.
Event #60: $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw ended day 2 with 24 players. Ryan Moriarty has the biggest stack, and will be joined by the 5 bracelets holder Adam Friedman (7th), Erik Seidel (9th), Maria Ho (12th), and Jason Mercier (18th).
