Event #8: $25,000 Heads Up No-Limit Hold’em Championship
They were 64 in the begin, and after winning his 6 matches in a row, Chanracy Khun came out victorious for $507,020. He battled heads-up specialist Doug Polk in the final match, who took home $313,362.
“When you play heads up, you’re always going to play a different strategy against different opponents.”, said Khun after the match. “I knew he was really, really good, so I just try to do my best. And so yeah, I was just luckier than him today.”
Chanracy Khun total live earnings are now close to the $2M mark. He wrote his first HendonMob line in 2011, and has 13 cashes at the World Series.
Event #9: $1,500 Seven Card Stud
The final table setting had lots of bracelet holder, and one of them won his fourth: Nick Schulman defeated Andrew Hasdal in the heads-up to become the winner of this Stud event, John Monnette finishing fourth and Shaun Deeb fifth.
Schulman is definitely one of the best mixed games specialists in the world. His previous bracelets were in No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw and Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better. He now sits at the 60th place in the all time money list with over $15M in earnings.

In the Event #3: $1,000 Mystery Millions – No-Limit Hold’em, more than 18,000 entries were registered, and the tournament in now down to 30 players. First place will award $1,000,000, as much as the two top mystery bounties which have been awarded to Shant Marashlian and Patrick Liang.

In the Event #10: $10,000 Dealers Choice 6-Handed Championship, 115 entries have been registered and the money has been reached at 20 left. Chad Eveslage ended the day as the chipleader, and we notably find Ari Engel (6th), John Hennigan (9th), Paul Volpe (12th) and Patrick Leonard (16th).
Event #12: $5,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em 8-Handed has started and totals 735 entries for a prizepool of $3,3M. At the end of day 1, 152 players remains with lots of familiar names, including Josh Arieh (9th) and Felipe Ramos (21st). Previous Main Event winners Koray Aldemir and Ryan Riess are also in good place.
