An amazingly tough final table in the Event #11: $5000 NL HE ! Daniel Strelitz won his 1rst bracelet for $442,385 and increased his total live earnings to more than $4,400,00 by dominating his opponents and especially his runner-up, the excellent Shannon Shorr.

Yuval Bronshtein cashes $96,278 for his victory, the money being undoubtedly less valuable than the bracelet in this case. Ajay Chabra takes second place while Jerry Wrong will be satisfied with bronze.

They are still four hoping to win one of the most wanted title in these WSOP. We will see Sean Swingruber vs. Cord Garcia and Ben Yu vs. Keith Lehr in the semifinals. The four survivors are guaranteed to win a minimum of $73,333 with a first prize of $186,356.

Event #18. $10.000 Omaha Hi-Lo Championship :

Day 1 of the event #18 has come to a conclusion with Yarron Bendor leading the approximate 90 survivors into Day 2. A field of 173 players entered the tournament throughout the day, and that number is set to increase with registration open until the start of play on Day 2.
