Jason Gooch signs his biggest performance to date, slightly more than his Main Event deep run last year, where he ended 36th for $230,475. He’s having a great run this year as the win marks his 7th cash this year. In the run for the crown we found two well known Italians:

The hostilities have started in the famous $50,000 Poker Players Championship, filled with the best of best. Amongst the names we haven’t heard a lot yet are Gus Hansen, Dan Smith and Daniel Cates. Michael Mizrachi has of course joined them, hoping to win his fourth championship win for this single event!
