Two great tournaments ended yesterday!
# | Buy-in | Event | Player | Prize |
35 | $10,000 | Dealers Choice 6-Handed | 🇺🇸 Adam Friedman | $312,417 |
36 | $3,000 | No-Limit Hold’em Shootout | 🇺🇸 David Lambard | $207,193 |
The Event #35 $10,000 Dealer’s Choice 6-Handed was the story of the incredible back-to-back champion Adam Friedman! Winning this exact same tournament last year, he enters the very small circle of the players able to successfuly defend their title.
David Lambard got the upper hand against a stacked final table at the #Event 36 No-Limit Hold’em Shootout. He won the final heads-up against the french pro and poker coach Johan “YoH ViraL” Guilbert. As a side note, beating ‘unknown’ players like Justin Bonomo, Alexandru Papazian or Andrew Lichtenberger is no small feat and a nice story to tell to your kids.
A lot of poker celebrities cashed in yesterday in those tournaments. Like a clockwork, they show their consistency. And speaking of consistency, with his 2nd place, Shaun Deeb should moves 31 spots up to the 8th place of the Player Of the Year race, after being the POY in 2018, what a monster!
