As for the notables, two bracelets owners made a deep run in the tournament: Layne Flack (6 bracelets) and Barry Greenstein (3 bracelets), both winning their last bracelet in 2008.

Two other events have reached the table final with very interesting line-ups!

Shaun Deeb, the reigning WSOP Player of the Year and currently 39th, leads the final table Event #35: $10,000 Dealers Choice 6-Handed. It is most likely that he will enter the top 10 of the race, and possibly reach 2nd place if he grabs the bracelet! They’re currently five left and Matt Glantz (WSOP records: 66 cashes, $3.1M in earnings) sits with the third stack.

Event #36: $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em Shootout will resume today with a very stacked final table counting Andrew Lichtenberger, Justin Bonomo, and two well known French pros Johan Guilbert and Adrien Delmas.

Let’s hope for some beautiful action today!
