Day 3 has come to an end with 52 marathon runners left fighting the win (188 players started Day 3). Matt Russell takes the overnight chip lead with 1,260,000 in chips behind.
Event #19: $1,500 NLHE Millionaire Maker
Huge performance of John Gorsuch who wins the million after falling to two big blinds at the final table. He finally managed to win the tournament for $1,344,930 and his first gold bracelet.
Event #23: $1,500 8-Game Mix
Rami Boukai captured his second career World Series of Poker gold bracelet, closing out the heads-up battle against John Evans. Boukai, whose previous bracelet win came at the 2009 WSOP in the $2,500 Pot-Limit Omaha/Hold’em event, said the money is the most important thing to him.
Event #25: $600 PLO DeepStack
With 2,577 players registered at the start of this event in Pot Limit Omaha, it was necessary to have the patience and know how to hold his four cards. This is obviously the case for the American Andrew Donabedian who won the bracelet and $205,605. This is the first bracelet of this PLO fan.
